Excerpt from the micro-enterprise invoice

Invoice no. [F-2026-001]

Issue date: [DD/MM/YYYY] — Due date: [DD/MM/YYYY]

[VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French Tax Code]

Text in black is already written; only the highlighted fields change from one invoice to the next. The VAT wording is a field because it changes on 1 January 2027: the guide gives you the new one.

French version

French mandatory mentions, for a micro-enterprise based in France (VAT exemption). As a company or with VAT, adjust the VAT line and add your VAT number. Based in Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Quebec or Morocco? The country guide says what to replace.

English version

The same documents in English, to invoice a foreign brand when your business is in France: the French mentions stay, translated. For a business in another country, the country guide, in English, lists the mentions to change.

Fields to complete

Mandatory mentions are already written. Left blank: your details (name, company number, address), the client's, the number, dates and amounts. Every field to complete is in capitals between brackets and highlighted in yellow, for example [AMOUNT] or [DD/MM/YYYY]. When there are several options, they are listed in the field: keep the right one and delete the others.

Common questions.

I have Essential or Pro: do I need this pack?

No: quotes, invoices and reminders are already in the app, filled from your collabs. This pack is for working without a subscription.

Are the invoices compliant?

They include the mentions required in France as of 27 October 2026, including the new 2026 ones. Since 1 September 2026, every business must be able to receive e-invoices; from 1 September 2027, micro-enterprises will also have to issue them through an approved platform. The template still gives you the content; the platform handles the format.

What if my business is not in France?

For Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Quebec and Morocco, the country guide gives the VAT or tax wording, the company number, the late-payment rules and where e-invoicing stands. In Belgium, invoices between businesses must be electronic since 2026: the guide explains it.

What file formats?

Word (.docx) and Excel (.xlsx), which also open in Google Docs, Google Sheets, Pages and Numbers. In French, the user guide and read-only versions as PDF; in English, the user guide in Word.
